• Full System Health Check
We perform a full system health check on your computer to ensure that your computer and its components are in good working condition. You will benefit from our annual health check which will keep your computer running at its peak performance, it will cut out the risk and expense of having to call out a technician when your machine begins to fail. A summary of the main points of our health check are listed below.

• BIOS Setup/Configuration
We check and configure your BIOS to ensure your computer is running at its optimum performance whilst retaining stability. We will also if necessary update your BIOS chip's firmware to the latest revision.

• Clean all Internal Components
We ensure a safe and thorough clean of all internal components. This includes removal of internal components such as memory, graphic cards and CPU. Cleaning and then re-fitting all components. We ensure that your computer remains free of dust and smooth running of fans which keeps your machine from overheating. We also clean the exterior of your computer.

• Check System temperatures
We monitor your motherboard, hard drive and CPU temperatures to ensure your computer is being kept at its coolest possible operating temperature. The cooler your computer is running the better its performance will be and the longer the computer's lifespan.

• Apply Thermal Compound to all Heatsinks
After a period of time the thermal compound that was applied to the heatsink when your computer was built can perish. This can cause overheating of CPU's and chipsets. We remove heatsinks and apply thermal compound paste to prevent overheating from happening.

• Optimise Performance
You may be finding that your computer is not running as quick as it did on the day of purchase. This is caused by a number of factors. We optimise your computer to ensure that your computer will perform at its best possible capabilities. We will also advise on the single most cost effective upgrade that will benefit your Computer's performance.

• Full Virus, Spyware & Malware Scan and Removal
We run an in-depth scan on your primary hard drive to ensure all malicious applications are found and removed from your system. If your security software is out of date we will install security software as part of the healthcheck.

• Scan and Remove all Invalid Registry Keys
Invalid and obsolete registry keys can cause your system to perform less than average and also seem unstable. We perform an in depth check of your registry to remove all invalid and obsolete registry entries.

• Driver and Operating System Updates
Out of date or corrupt drivers can cause your computer to be unstable. We update your drivers ensuring that all devices can operate at their best. Operating System updates are required to patch security vulnerabilities and "bugs" or faults in the system. All available applicable updates are applied to keep your system running in tip-top shape.

• Run Diagnostics on Internal components
We run a professional diagnostics on your computer’s internal components, leaving you with a print out of the results and a full explanation of findings. This diagnostics will enable us to know if a piece of hardware is beginning to fail. This is a vital part of a health check.

• Soak or Bench Testing
Once all of the above work and tests have been carried out, we run simulated real world tests on your computer whilst it is running the operating system. These test all of the major components and software at the same time putting the computer under load or stress. This highlights if there are any further problems. Only once your computer has completed this test successfully are we happy to contact you to advise that your computer is ready to collect or to be despatched.
